May Architects

Penny Fallmann May established MAY ARCHITECTS in 1992. After graduating from the Columbia University School of Architecture, she gained valuable experience working at I.M. Pei and Partners. She then joined the firm of Alan Wanzenberg, Architect, a relatively young office that already had a fine reputation for designing both houses and apartments. After a few years at the Wanzenberg office, Penny established her own firm in the Carnegie Hill Neighborhood, where she lives with her family.

MAY ARCHITECTS is currently working on a number of residential projects in New York City and Connecticut including high end faculty housing at a local university. "The apartments and houses my office has done over the last fourteen years tend to be understated - most of our clients want the final product to look as though the work was part of the original architecture of that particular setting."
